The composition in the ternary MgO-Al2O3-Cr2O3 system is located within the Figure A' -A" -B" -B', with A' = 53% by weight of MgO, 44% by weight of Al2O3 and 3% by weight of Cr2O3, A" = 21% by weight of MgO, 76% by weight of Al2O3 and 3% by weight of Cr2O3, B" = 19.5% by weight of MgO, 60.5% by weight of Al2O3 and 20% by weight of Cr2O3, and B' = 49% by weight of MgO, 31% by weight of Al2O3 and 20% by weight of Cr2O3, and the use thereof as additive in magnesia bricks. c |
