PURPOSE:To prevent the illegal use of a card by other person who is not its authorized holder from occurring by identifying the aid holder with finger print. CONSTITUTION:To an IC card writer 5 in which the IC card is inserted, a finger part reader 3 and a controller 4 housing an image processor 40 are connected. On the top surface of the reader 3, a finger placing table 30 while is the slant surface of a rectangular prism is provided. On the plural of the controller 4, a CRT 42 and a keyboard 41 are provided. To the keyboard 42, a confirmation key is allocated. The user inserts an IC card storing his or her own finger-print reference data into an automatic transaction processor, then the second finger print reading means of the said processor reads his or her finger print. The identification of the user is thus executed, and the automatic transaction processor executes the transaction such as a drawing from a deposit. |
