摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To reduce a measuring error due to the vibration or thermal deformation of a metal container, by receiving a medium in the metal container having the same potential as a conductor and filling the gap of said container with an elastic substance. CONSTITUTION:The light from the light emitting part of a measuring apparatus 1 passes through an optical fiber 9a to be incident to a polarizer 4a and incident to Faraday glass 3 as linear polarized light. The light reflected by the prism in the glass 3 passes through a conductor 2 so as to turn around the periphery thereof and the rotated linear polarized light thereof is divided into two componential lights crossing to each other at a right angle by an analyser 4b and one of them is incident to an optical fiber 9b while the other one is reflected by an orthogonal prism 4c to be incident to an optical fiber 9c and both lights are sent to a detector 10 to measure the current of a conductor 2. In this case, a gap 6 is provided to a metal container 5 and filled with an elastic substance 7 to receive the glass 3 and the gap 6a above the glass 3 is also filled with the substance 7 to mount a cover 14 and the displacement of the glass due to the vibration or thermal deformation of the container 5 is absorbed by the substance 7.</p>
