<p>PURPOSE:To detect a large DC current with high accuracy, by detecting the current flowing to a shunt circuit conductor by a highly precise magnetic current detector and detecting the deviation of the ampere patterns of currents flowing to the shunt circuit conductor and a main circuit conductor by a bipolar or single-pole current detector. CONSTITUTION:A shunt circuit conductor 12 is connected to a main circuit conductor 11 in parallel. A current detector 10 detects a shunt circuit current IS flowing to the conductor 12 and is constituted of a high preciseness magnetic current detector wherein two single-pole magnetic current detectors each equipped with two current transformers performing current transforming action in such a state that at least either one of them is brought to an unsaturated state are connected in a push-pull system to feed back output. A current detector 8 detects the deviation of the ampere pattern of the main circuit current IM flowing to the conductor 11 and the ampere pattern of the current IS and is constituted to a bipolar or single-pole current detector equipped with two current transformers performing current transforming action in such a state that at least either one of them is brought to an unsaturated state. By this method, a large DC current can be detected with high accuracy.</p> |
