A squarish 8-shaped pattern 10a of a display panel 8 consists of seven display segments (e.g., LED) d1-d7, etc., and these segments are driven respectively by outputs of FF1-FF7, etc., of a toggle circuit 11. A recognition table 12 serves as a decoder function for converting outputs of FF1-FF7, etc., i.e., seven bit data (A6-A0) into four bit data (D0-D3), and is constituted of, for example, ROM.</p> |
