In this device the elements for sticking are grouped in series of elements, each series of elements taking the form of a strip 2, 12, 22 from which the elements 8, 9, 10 have been cut out by means of a punch having a cavity, the elements of any individual strip being obtained by several successive operations involving cutting and moving the strip along relative to the punch by a distance that is less than the width of the cavity.
