PURPOSE:To easily monitor an output and also to eliminate its influence at the time of working by a laser, by detecting the output of a laser beam brought to sampling through a switching mechanism installed in a transmission line for leading the laser beam to a working head. CONSTITUTION:A direction switching mirror 13 is turned on, a direction switching mirror 14 is turned off, and a laser beam emitted from an oscillator 1 is made to pass through a sampler 10, and led to a power damper 7. In this state, the indicated value of an output display meter 12 and a table value are confirmed. When it is desired to execute a laser working by eliminating the influence of power sampling, the direction switching mirror 13 is turned off, a direction switching mirror 15 is turned on, and a direction switching mirror 16 is turned off, so that the beam is led to a working head 3 without making it pass through the sampler 10. In this way, the sampling can be easily executed. |
