Electric door-activating device

An electric door-activating device is proposed which has, as drive, a low-voltage direct current motor (5) with an angular gear (6). In the currentless state, such a motor has a certain degree of self-locking so that without current the door remains secure. For emergency activation, the predetermined short-circuit in the motor can be cancelled in order to move the door manually.
