<p>Loom having a reciprocating batten device (11) comprising a reed (13) and a first handle (19) fixed on the batten device for manually reciprocating the batten device. According to the invention the loom is provided with a second handle (21) which is journalled on the batten device and acts on a mechanism comprising a gripping device (31) which during the movement of the second handle engages the stationary part of the loom, and a mechanism which transfers the movement of the second handle (21) to the batten device (11).</p> |
