The invention starts from a process for producing ventilation hoses which are provided with a multiplicity of fine slits for the passage of air and are held by clips on a support tube. To improve this fastening, that is to say to prevent detachment of the hoses, according to the invention the still unslit hose bodies are finally dimensioned by heat treatment after their vulcanisation. This may take place at a temperature of 50-150 degrees Celsius for 12 to 48 hours. Hoses are thus obtained which are very dimensionally accurate and can therefore be readily fastened.
