A discharging device for free-flowing media takes the form of an expendable diffuser (1), the entire medium reservoir (13) of which is formed by the pump chamber (14) of a thrust piston pump. The exposed cylindrical container (12), which takes the form of a handle which is shaped like a push button, is therefore valveless and can only be opened in the direction of the outlet channel (25). It can be arranged so as to be replaceable and be provided with a rupturing membrane which, even without the use of valves, tightly seals off the container before delivery of the liquid commences. <IMAGE>
