Electrodes for cochlea stimulation

In electrical stimulation of the cochlea of the profoundly deaf bioreactive material 55 having connections 58, 59 and 60 to electrodes on the cochlea is implanted into the ear. The bioreactive material allows firm connections to be made between an external processor which provides electrical signals in response to speech, and electrodes implanted on the cochlea.
