摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To make unnecessary a pad, to improve reliability and to make unnecessary periodical checking by composing a device of X and Y lattice lines prepared at the surface of a sphere so as to cross mutually in the right-angled direction and two detecting devices to detect these lattice lines respectively. CONSTITUTION:A detecting device 23 is formed by a LED 25 as a light emitting element, a focus lens 26 to project the emitting light on the lattice surface, a focus lens 27 to focus the reflecting light on the lattice surface and a photodetecting element 28 to photodetect the light, and a detecting device 24 is also formed by a LED 29, focus lenses 30 and 31 and a photodetecting element 32. Detecting devices 23 and 24 are both arranged so that the incident light and the central line of the reflecting light can be right-angled to the surface of a sphere 20, the reflecting light on lattice lines 21 and 22 accompanying the turning of the sphere 20 is calculated and the rotating direction and the rotating quantity of the sphere 20 are detected. The shifting of the lattice lines 21 and 22 by the rotation of the sphere 20 is detected simply by the detecting devices 23 and 24 according to the presence and the absence of the reflecting light on the lattice lines 21 and 22, the detecting value is changed to the electric signal, can be inputted to CRT and therefore, the pad is not necessary.</p>
