<p>The invention can be applied to terminals for data transmission and tele-processing. It provides that on arrival of a call signal to one or more unattended switched off terminals, a device (10') supplies power to the called terminals (7) and at the same time simulates at the calling terminal (1), during a time interval X greater than the time necessary to start-up the called terminals (7), the "ready to data transmission" condition causing a waiting phase. Following the subsequent recognition of the called terminals (7) from the calling one (1), feeding is maintained only to the called terminals interested in the dialogue with the calling terminal. Once the dialogue is over, power supply is cut to all the called terminals (7).</p> |
