<p>The valve (18) of an aerosol can (10) is actuated by a lever (38) having a handle portion (40) and an intermediate portion (42) bearing on a lock member (28). The lever (38) is pivotably mounted in a clip (30). The lock member (28) is in screw-threaded engagement with the valve (18) for movement therealong between closed (Fig. 1) and open (Fig. 6) positions. The lock member (28) can be placed in any intermediate position to set a desired flow rate through the valve (18) when the lever (38) is depressed by the user.</p> |
