The two parts of a solid rubber tyre, referred to as "semi-tyres" are attached to the rim and held by bases made of plastic or metal (>>base 0 or pi <I>). After a loss of air, the "semi-tyre" bears the tread of the tyre every four centimetres above the external ends of the rim so that the rim is prevented from touching the ground. This embodiment can be used for two shapes "non-inflated racing tyres" I and II. The third embodiment of the invention is based on the tyre itself. The tyre is subdivided into two different, independent chambers, each chamber having a separate valve for the supply of air.
