<p>PURPOSE:To make high speed preparation of character composition according to layout information possible by providing a composition display means that forms and displays a composition of characters, an area display means that displays an area of photograph and an image outputting means that outputs a combined image. CONSTITUTION:A specified layout information picture is displayed in a display means 3 and layout information, that is, a command to select a desired paper size from paper size information is inputted from an inputting means 2. Then, a command to select character size information registered beforehand is inputted from the inputting means 2, and composition form information, number of characters information, number of columns information, character space information, line space information, etc., are inputted successively. Consequently, composition of characters is displayed in the character original area of the display means 3 by a composition display means 1a. When diagonal coordinate of a photograph area to be inserted in the character composition displayed in the display means 3 is inputted from an inputting means 2 according to character size, a combined image is formed and displayed in the display means 3. Thus, composition of characters and composition of photograph can be seen simultaneously in the display means 3.</p> |
