<p>PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of a picking work, by a method wherein order information of a customer is drawn up by the use of a host computer to store it in external memory devices, whereby picking instruction information is outputted. CONSTITUTION:A number of storage shelves 8 in a picking region are divided into plural blocks, and each block is divided into plural lots of picking information, each of which has a quantity equivalent to the number of customers being many enough to allow one picker to process it by means of a computer 1, to store them in a number of small external memory devices 4. Each picker uses a slip 22 containing the number of a block in which a delivery item is stored, the small external memory device 4 i set to a control device CRW for the corresponding block, and picking is effected according to the display of a quantity display unit DPN classified by a delivery item of the corresponding block. This enables shortening of a time required for picking per one item, and performs an efficient picking work.</p> |
