<p>In an arrangement for mounting a lift driving device (3) to the top part of lift cage (11) in a lift of the type where the driving device comprises at least two horizontally spaced driving wheels (4) which each are in engagement with a respective stationary elongate flexible member (5), such as a chain, extending substantially vertically in the lift shaft, the driving device (3) is supported by a separate mounting frame (10), from which the lift cage (11) is functionally single point suspended substantially centrally between said driving wheels (4) via first vibration damping support means (30) to be at least slightly movable, the mounting frame (10) being arranged to bear against the lift cage via vibration damping support means (31) on both sides of the point of suspension, which are at least slightly resilient, such that inclination of the mounting frame (10) in relation to the lift cage (11) is allowed, and, further, sensor means (32) are provided, e.g., between the mounting frame (10) and the lift cage (11), which are designed to sense excessive biasing of the mounting frame (10) and thereby cut off the power supply to the driving device (3).</p> |
