摘要 Optical fluor phosphate glass based on Ba(PO3)2, AlF3 and alkaline earth-oxides, which has a refraction coefficient ne of between 1.59 and 1.60, an Abbe coefficient DELTA upsilon e of 66 - 68 and an anomalous positive particle scattering value DELTA upsilon e of between +6 and +8. In addition a process for producing the glass is indicated. The glass has an atomic composition (in atoms-%) of 3-4 Mg, 37-39 Ba, 8-9 Sr, 0-1 ca, 3-4 Al, 13-14 P, 7-8 f and 25-26 O. It has a low fluorescence and can be processed to produce pressings of a large diameter. Other physical properties (transmission characteristics, expansion coefficient, density, Knoop-hardness) are indicated.
