PURPOSE:To suck away molten solder easily with a small-sized and easy to handle solder remover by mounting a suction nozzle to a case body, making a suction pump built in and interposing a filter between the nozzle and the pump. CONSTITUTION:When a switch is turned on, a suction nozzle 3 evolves heat. The operator brings this nozzle 3 into abutment on the solder to be removed to melt said solder and pulls an operating piece 32 in the direction of an arrow 38. The bottom end of an interlocking piece 30 is then pressed, by which a sliding rod 27 is slided horizontally and a rod 26 is moved as well. Thereupon, a piston 25 moves in a cylinder 21 and the air in a suction hole 20 is sucked in the direction of an arrow 44. Therefore, the inside of a connecting pipe 19 and a filter cylinder 9 is evacuated and the inside of a suction pipe 5 is evacuated as well. When the preceding end of the nozzle 3 contacts with the molten solder, the solder is sucked easily as shown by an arrow 45, and enters the inside of the filter cylinder 9. The molten solder passes through a metallic hairy body 17 and a felt layer 15 and is sucked into the pipe 19. Since the solder is heavy, it sticks on the head part 12 of a mounting rod 13. The operator removes the filter 9 by rotating a knob 7, and removes the solder by blowing air to the filter lightly. |
