PURPOSE:To make many kinds of recording medium have an interchangeability by reading by an optical head on optimum condition which has been recorded in advance in a disk, when using it, and adjusting automatically the intensity of a laser for executing optical write and read-out. CONSTITUTION:A sector of a position of a home position 1 is an evaluating sector 5 for measuring a radium dependency of a power, and a radius dependency of a laser power is derived from a data which has been provided extending from the inside periphery to the outside periphery of this sector. Subsequently, positioning of an optical head is executed by using a track of the innermost periphery as a focus control use track 5, and thereafter, by using the second track as an optimum power recording track 6, the data of the radius dependency which has been derived by the evaluating sector 4 in advance is written. In this way, a user can execute write and read out of information under an optimum condition correctly from the beginning even if a recording medium is changed. |
