PURPOSE:To obtain the titled toner having an improved durability and a good storage property for a long period by incorporating a salt forming compd. to the titled toner. CONSTITUTION:The titled toner contains the salt forming compd. obtd. by reacting a pyridinium salt shown by the formula and a naphthalene sulfonic acid which may contains an OH group and/or a NH2 substituents. In the formula, R1 is a hydrogen atom or 1-4.C an alkyl group, R2 is 1-18C an alkyl grup or a benzyl group, X and Y are each a hydrogen atom, an OH group or a NH2 grup (X and Y can not be both hydrogen atom). The used amount of the salt forming compd. shown by the formula to the toner component is 0.1-10pts.wt., preferably 0.5-5pts.wt. on the weight basis of 100pts.wt. said resin. Thus, the titled toner having the excellent stability and durability and a good storage property for a long period is obtd. |
