PURPOSE:To efficiency cut such a compound material of different hardness, cutting property and the like as metal-resin compound material by brazing a cermet chip on the outer peripheral part of a steel metal-base. CONSTITUTION:The plural number of edges 3, 3,... are provided on the outer peripheral part of the metal base 2 of a circular saw 1, while a cermet chip 7 is brazed on the tip part of the edge to form a cutter tip. The cermet chip 7 is selected from among those with quality of high tenacity and excellent heat- reisting property. Above all, the most appropriate one is TiN group cermet added with titanium nitride TiN. This circular saw is used while being installed by a publicly known method, and can perform excellent cutting without producing burs by using it at 1,200-3,000m/min in case of cutting the abovementioned compound material. |
