A lamp holder for lamps (1) with a glass base having transverse grooves (10) for location purposes, the lead-in wires (12) of the lamp (1) abutting these grooves (10), comprises a plastics body (2) having flanges (14) for bayonet type attachment in openings in a printed circuit board, the body having an opening (4) with resilient ribs (5) for receiving the lamp (1) so as to compensate for tolerances and holder contacts (3) for retention of the lamp (1) in the opening (4) and for making contact between the lamp (1) and circuits on the board. <IMAGE> |
