<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the mount space of a reflection type touch panel and to compact the touch panel by arranging light emitting elements and photodetecting elements on the same side and providing a reflection plate on the opposite side. CONSTITUTION:The photoelectric detection type input device is constituted by arraying photoelectric elements composed of a couple of a light emitting element 1 and a photodetecting element 2 in an X and a Y directions and detects and transfers the X and Y coordinates of a light beam which is cut off by addressing individual photoelectric elements 1 and 2 by a control part 4 to a processor 5. In this case, the light emitting elements 1 and photodetecting elements 2 of the photoelectric elements are arrayed on the same side and the reflection plate 3 is provided on the other side. Then, a light beam reflected by the reflection plate 3 on the opposite side is detected by a photodetecting element 2 to detect the touch input position.</p> |
