This matl. can be used for office copying, x-ray photography and electrostatic printing. The spectral sensitivity is extended over the entire visible range, while further crystn. of the crystalline coat into the amorphous coat is prevent. Both photoconcuting coats pref. are of Se, Se cpd. or Se alloy, while inhibitor is As, Sb and/or P. Crystalline coat can contain crystn. promoters, pref. Tl or halogens.
