Dyeing machine is for the dyeing and drying of yarn windings, piece goods and the like and has a horizontal dyeing vat. It features a rotatable, perforated beam in the form of a hollow cylinder and this is mounted on a displacement body by bearing rings at the ends of the perforated, hollow cylinder. The upper section of the displacement body has a feed conduit for the treatment medium at 80 degrees with a suction conduit at 40 degrees on each side, which pass over the whole length of the perforated cylinder.
