PURPOSE:To make it possible to reduce wear damaging properties of ground limestone on wire for paper making, by treating water dispersion or ground limestone by a sand mill and adjusting it to its particle size distribution in a specific range. CONSTITUTION:Water dispersion of ground limestone having 3-30mu average particle diameter, containing >= 33wt% particles with >= 5mu particle diameter, is treated by a sand mill so as to simultaneously satisfy the following conditions 1-3. (1) 0.4mu <= average particle diameter (mu) after treatment < 2mu, (2) 0 <=content (wt%) of particles with >=5mu particle diameter after treatment <= 38. (3) 15 <= content (wt%) of particles with <= 0.5mu particle diameter after treatment <= 62. |
