<p>Prodn. of electrodes consisting of a porous metal body filled with a metal oxide deposited therein by impregnating with a soln. of a cpd. yielding the metal oxide by pyrolysis and by heating to bring about this pyrolysis, is improved by rotating a number of porous bodies round and at a fixed distance from a fixed point in a chamber the temp. of which lies within the pyrolysis range, the heat of pyrolysis being supplied from outside, while the soln. of the cpd. to be pyrolysed is sprayed onto the bodies, the angular velocity of rotation, concn. and temp. of the soln. at the selected temp. are so related to one another that an optimum filling of the porous bodies with the metal oxide is produced.</p> |
