<p>PURPOSE:To realize the automatic joining and separating of vacuum joints by a method wherein a truck is carried in a vessel and positioned and a vacuum joint attaching and detaching means, which attaches and detaches each vacuum joint through the actuation of a back and forth shifting mechanism, is provided. CONSTITUTION:Firstly, a truck 5, onto which molding materials 1 are seated, is carried in a vessel 2 and stopped by stoppers 23 of rails 22 so as to be positioned in order to allow to join the vacuum joint 9a provided on each surface plate 7 with the vacuum joint 9b provided on each joint holder 44. Secondly, a sliding shaft 47 is shifted forwards by extending a piston rod part through the actuation of an air cylinder 43 so as to shift the point holders 44, which join to the sliding shaft, along the guide shaft 46 of a guide plate 45 in the interior of the vessel 2 in order to join a plurality of the vacuum joints 9b with a plurality of the vacuum joints 9a provided on the surface plates 7 seated onto the truck 5. Finally, after molding, a door 3 is open and the air cylinder 43 is actuated in reverse manner so as to shift a sliding shaft 38 and the joint holders 44 sidewise the vessel 2 in order to separate the vacuum joints 9a and 9b from each other.</p> |
