<p>Gas or air separation plant is designed with horizontal columns in one complete unit installed in its own supporting frame. The complete unit can be erected close to and on the same foundations as the other items of the same plant or it can be erected on top of the existing platforms supporting parts of operationally connected items of equipment with the separating plant. The advantage lies in saving in the built up area because the complete unit can be installed close to other units, also saving on interconnecting piping.</p> |
