PURPOSE:To provide a polyamide comps. which gives moldings having excellent flexibility, resistance to oils, heat, impact and whitening, etc. such as tubes, hoses, etc., by blending a polyamide with a specified modified copolymer and an org. peroxide. CONSTITUTION:Part or the whole of a copolymer composed of an arom. vinyl compd. (e.g., styrene) and a conjugated diene compd. (e.g., butadiene) and/or a hydrogenated product (A) thereof is graft-polymerized with an unsaturated carboxylic acid (derivative) (B) (e.g., maleic anhydride, acrylic acid) to prepare a modified copolymer. A polyamide (e.g., polyhexamethylene adipamide) is blended with said modified copolymer and 0.01-2.5wt% (based on the combined quantity of the polyamide and the modified copolymer) org. peroxide (e.g., dicumyl peroxide, t-butyl hydroperoxide) to obtain the desired polyamide compsn. |
