<p>A method for laminating thin thermoplastic films esp. polyolefins, comprises stretching >=2 films in contact with each other. >=1 of the films is roughened or formed with a wrinkled texture on the inner side and a fine grained roughening agent is introduced between the films prior to a stretching of 3-6 times, thus entrapping small air bubbles between the films. Concentric tubular films can also be laminated by stretching in a lengthwise direction. A strong paper-like laminate is formed, used in packaging.</p> |
