PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. which has excellent stability in processing and can be vulcanized rapidly at a high temp., by blending chloroprene rubber with N,N'-m-phenylenedimaleimide and an alkylthiuram sulfide compd. as a vulcanization accelerator aid. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. chloroprene rubber (A) is blended with N,N'-m- phenylenedimaleimide (B), 0.1-2.0pts.wt. at least one alkylthiuram sulfide compd. (C) of the formula (wherein R1, R2 are each a 1-6C alkyl; R1 and R2 may form a cycloalkyl when combined together ; n is 1-6) (e.g., tetramethylthiuram disulfide) as a vulcanization accelerator aid and optionally, a reinforcing agent, a filler, a softener, an antioxidant, etc. |
