PURPOSE:To improve the heat exchanging efficiency of a heater core, by installing a hot water pipe in series with the heater core at the downstream side of this core for heating use, in case of a device which melts the snow collected in a cowl box of an automobile with the hot water pipe set up in the said box. CONSTITUTION:In case of a device which sets up a hot water pipe 17 in a cowl box 16 supporting a lower edge of a windshield of an automobile, circulating the cooling water that becomes hot water because of cooling an engine 10, and melts the snow collected in the cowl box 16, the cooling water of the engine 10 is fed to a heater core 14 via a first circulating pipe 13. And, the hot water pipe 17 is installed in series with the heater core 14 at the downstream side of the heater core 14, and it is made so as to feed the cooling water from the heater core 14 to the hot water pipe 17 via a second circulating pipe 15. In addition, the cooling water inside the hot water pipe 17 is made to flow back to a cooling water circulating passage inside the engine 10 via a third circulating pipe 18. |
