PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. which has excellent deodorizing properties and moldability and gives deodorizing moldings such as packaging materials for malodorous articles, deodorizing wall covering materials, flooring materials, etc., by blending a thermoplastic resin with an arom. polycarboxylic acid. CONSTITUTION:99.9-80pts.wt. thermoplastic resin (e.g., PE) is blended with 0.1-20pts.wt. arom. polycarboxylic acid (e.g., trimellitic acid). If desired, a colorant, a filler, an extender pigment, a plasticizer, etc., are added thereto to obtain the titled compsn. The compsn. is molded into a molding such as a packaging material (e.g., a film, a sheet, a container, etc.), a particulate deodor izing agent, a deodorizing wall covering material, a flooring material, a deodoriz ing fiber, fabric, etc. |
