TREATMENT OF SILVER HALIDE COLOR PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To make it possible to effect an excellent bleach-fixing and a rapid treatment of the photosensitive photographic material having a high sensitivity and to reduce the color turbidity of the titled material by exposing the color photographic sensitive material which has a silver halide emulsion layer contg. a silver iodide, and contains a specific coupler in a red color sensitive silver halide emulsion layer to form an image followed by developing it, and then by treating the image with the prescribed bleaching fixer. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide color photographic material comprises a photographic constituting layer contg. a green color sensitive and a red color sensitive silver halide emulsion layers and at least one of the silver halide emulsion layers contg. >=0.5mol% the silver iodide, and the red color sensitive silver halide emulsion layer contg. a cyan coupler shown by formula I. The prescribed silver halide color photographic sensitive material is exposed to form the image followed by treating it with the bleaching fixer contg. at least one of a ferric iron complex salt of an org. acid. In the formula, X is a hydrogen atom or a group capable of cleaving by a coupling reaction of an oxidant of an aromatic primary amine color developing agent. The total thickness of the whole photographic constituting layer except a substrate is <=25mum. The swelling rate T1/2 of the film of a binder contd. in the photographic emulsion layer is <=25sec.
