PURPOSE:To aim at preventing defective parts in working from being delivered to the next process station, by rotating a pair of rotary arms clamping therebetween an accentric section of a shaft-like part in synchronization with each other, and by comparing the rotating angle thereof with that upon abutting to detect a chuck slip. CONSTITUTION:A shaft-like workpiece W is pressed against a pressing pin 5 by means of an operating mechanism 4, being supported on beds 2, 3, and is clamped in its eccentric section (w) by a pair of rotary arms 20 which is rotated in its normal direction, so that it is positioned in its rotating direction. the data of rotating angle of the rotary arms 20 are stored in a memory in a control device 19. Thereafter, the workpiece is secured by a chuck 6, and the rotary arms 20 are reversed to retract from the working space. Accordingly, the drilling of a hole H is performed. Further, after completion of the drilling, the rotary arms 20 are again normally rotated, and therefore, abuts against the eccentric section (w). The rotating arms of the rotary arms 20 is detected by a detector 18, and is transmitted to the control device 19 in which it is compared with the previous stored rotating angle data. If it is out of a tolerance, a failure in working due to a chuck slip is indicated. Thus, it is possible to enhance the working efficiency. |
