<p>PURPOSE:To enable an exhaust circulation passage to become more compact by providing, on the branch connection of a branch pipe connected to an intake box, an exhaust induction port, to which an exhaust circulation passage is connected, and then, incorporating a part of the exhaust circulation passage and a distribution pipe having a branch pipe to be in a body. CONSTITUTION:Right above the cylinder head of each cylinder bank 4 is supported an intake box 15 acting as a surge tank respectively. In addition, to the upstream end of each intake box 15 is connected a distribution pipe 19, having a pair of branch pipes 18 which are caused to branch off in two, being shaped such as a fork. In this case, on the upper surface of the branch connection 20 of each branch pipe 18 is provided a confluence chamber 25, which juts out upwards between the openings of the branch pipes 18 respectively, and then, on the side surface of the confluence chamber 25 is provided an exhaust induction port 26 connecting to the branch connection 20. And further, the exhaust induction port 26 and an exhaust takeoff port provided on one exhaust manifold 13 are interconnected through an exhaust circulation passage 28. And moreover, an exhaust passage 31 forming the exhaust circulation passage 28 is provided on the inside of the outer periphery wall part 32 of the distribution pipe 19 in such a manner that the two are incorporated in a body.</p> |
