<p>PURPOSE:To miniaturize a power supply section for an electronic circuit, and to obtain arbitrary voltage and currents on the secondary side by combining various light-emitting elements and solar cells by arranging the light-emitting elements onto a substrate, to which the solar cells are formed, in a voltage conversion element, inputting primary side voltage to said light-emitting elements and leading out secondary side outputs from the solar cells. CONSTITUTION:A substrate 2 in which solar cells are shaped and miniature lamps 3... as a plurality of light-emitting elements connected in parallel, adjoining onto said substrate 2 are sealed hermetically and housed in a case 1 constituting an outer shell for a voltage conversion element. Primary side leads 4, 4 are connected at both ends of the miniature lamps 3... and secondary side leads 5, 5 at both ends of said substrate 2 respectively, and both leads 4, 4, 5, 5 are extended to the outside. In the voltage conversion element having said constitution, DC voltage and current characteristics on the secondary side are determined by the brightness of the light-emitting elements on the primary side, the miniature lamps 3... in said example, and the characteristics of the solar cells on the secondary side. When AC 100V is applied to said miniature lamps 3... through the primary-side leads 4, 4, said miniature lamps 3... emit light, and the solar cells just under the lamps 3... generate electricity by the light, thus leading out DC voltage and currents from the secondary-side leads 5, 5.</p> |
