摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To sufficiently focus the emitting light to the surface to be detected and to completely detect the light by providing a light emitting chip, a photo receiving chip, an enclosure having a shielding plate, and a spherical lens at least on the top of both chips. CONSTITUTION:A glass spherical lens 11 is attached by an adhesive 10 on a light emitting chip 101a to condense and focus the emitting light of a light emitting chip. An enclosure 12 formed of an opaque resin is partitioned therein by a shielding plate 113 to a light emitting chip 101a side and a photo receiving chip 101b side, the top is sealed with a transparent glass 13, and transparent resin 14 is filled in each chamber. To locally limit the light emitting region of the chip 101a, a hole 15a is formed in an upper electrode layer 15 in the chip. Thus, fine dense and pale bar code is, for example, detected by a reflection type sensor, and the emitted light of the light emitting chip is focused to a desired spot diameter at a desired location to be detected.</p>
