PURPOSE:To improve the optical fatigue resistance, durability and moisture resistance of a light receiving member by making the surface of a support uneven by plural hemispherical dents. CONSTITUTION:When a light receiving layer 100 consisting of the 1st layer 102 of an Si-base amorphous material and the 2nd layer 103 having antireflection function is formed on the support 101 to produce a light receiving member, the surface of the support is made uneven by plural hemispherical dents. The generation of interference fringes is effectively prevented according to the curvature R and the width D of the dents.The ratio of D/R is regulated to >=0.035, preferably >=0.055 so as to disperse interference fringes in the dents and to prevent the generation of interference fringes in the light receiving member. Thus, superior electrical, optical and photoconductive characteristics, high dielectric strength and superior resistance to service environment are obtd. |
