The invention relates to a device allowing real-time memory storage of a video image in order to allow the transfer of this image onto a matrix printer. It consists of amplifiers 2 to which the video signal is applied, of alignment devices 3, of analog/digital converters (4), of dynamic memories 5 operating in real time for memory storage. It also consists of a microprocessor 9 with an integral program 10 which reads the information contained in the memories 5 in order to transfer them onto a matrix printer.
