The invention relates to a vehicle wheel with composite structure assembled by external crimping, more particularly by magnetic forming. This consists of a disc 1, more generally made from moulded aluminium, comprising part of the profile of the wheel rim, and a component 2, generally made from sheet steel, assembled to the disc, the assembly being supplemented and sealed by a seal housed in the heel of the tyre. This type of wheel makes it possible to obtain the appearance of a moulded wheel with an assembly without welds or screws, at a cost which is lower than that for monoblock moulded wheels. <IMAGE>
