<p>PURPOSE:To improve high-temperature impact resistance, by forming integrally a part of a supporting body of a resistor with a member of the nearly the same thermal expansivity with the supporting body and inserting this body into a resin base of the higher thermal expansivity. CONSTITUTION:A heating resistor for detection of suction air flow-rate and that for measurement of suction air temperature 2 are of the same construction with a platinum coil 102 covered with thin glass layer 104 set around an aluminum bobbin 101 of 0.5mm wide and 500mm long with lead wires 103 on both ends. This assembly is installed is a suction air bypass 106. Supporting bodies 3 and 4 of the resistors are of stainless steel (coefficient of thermal expansion of 16.4X10<6>) crowned with a resistor respectively and members 5, 6 are of epoxy resin and formed integrally with the resistors 3, 4 and the coefficient of thermal expansion of them is lower than that of glass fiber reinforced polyester resin (40X10<6>) of a base 6. As the materials of higher coefficients of expansion are arranged in the order of supporting bodies 3 and 4, members 5 and base 6, possible gap between supporting bodies 3, 4 and base 7 caused by temperature change can be prevented.</p> |
