PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of noxious gas and to enhance a heat- exchange ratio, by stepwise changing the passing speed of high temp. exhaust gas introduced into a baking process from a high speed to a low speed and baking the stock powder fed to said high temp. exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION:The stock powder issued from a stock material preheating apparatus is fallen along the inner wall surface of a small chamber 30a and blown upwardly by the high temp. exhaust gas blown up from a small chamber 30b and separated from the exhaust gas at the upper part to be again fallen. Subsequently, the stock particles each grown into a size capable of being fallen in the small chamber 30b are fallen in the small chamber 30b once and subsequently blown up by the high temp. exhaust gas blown from a small chamber 30c and rising/falling motion is repeated over two stages in the small chamber 30b to perform the growth of particles into coarse particles. Hereinbelow, baking and granulation are successively repeatedly performed in small chambers 30c, 30d in the same way as mentioned above and the stock material baked so as to have a predetermined particle size is discharged to a cooling apparatus 4 from a lower nozzle 31. |
