A decorative panel reproducing a picture such as a photograph, painting or drawing has an assembly of glass sections of different colours each with a transparent glass pane painted on its back, and an opaque layer covering the paint. - A method of making the glass panes is also claimed. The opaque layer is pref. covered by a double sided adhesive sheet with one side protected by silicone paper. - A decorative panel is made from a mosaic of glass squares of different colours. The squares of each colour are made from a transparent glass sheet by preparing its rear face , applying a layer of paint , covering the paint with an opaque layer , applying double sided adhesive pads to the opaque layer, and protecting the free faces of the pads with a silicone sheet . The sheet is then cut to form the squares. An assembler for the panel is controlled by a computer receiving input from a video camera to duplicate the camera's image by assembling squares of different colours.(0/0)
