<p>The spring component fits under a shoe (1), and comprises a non-metallic distorting elastic body (2). This can be solid, or contains an air-tight chamber and it can be hemispherical. It can be of foam rubber or plastics and detachably secured to the shoe by straps round it, or a section of elastic stocking. Its dia. can be greater than that of the shoe sole, and one can be secured to the latter both at front and rear.</p> |
