HUMBOLDT-DEUTZ AG 7 March 1970 11025/70 Heading B8A In regions of overlap between trough sections 6 of a vibratory conveyer, a gaseous medium which may be used for cooling or heating the conveyed material flows from pipes 8 which have a rectangular outlet extending the whole width of the trough. Alternatively the pipes may have bores or narrow slots. Pressure measuring devices and throttles 11, 12 are used to control the gas flow. In a modification, Fig. 5, gas from each pipe 8 flows above and below a baffle 15 mounted on the base 16 of a trough section 13<SP>1</SP>. The conveyer preferably has one or more dust hoods provided with air extractor means. There may be means for automatically controlling the temperature of the material and the pressure of the gas supply. |
